New Logo & Branding Questionnaire
Why is branding so important?
Branding is the relationship your company has with others — including returning customers and potential new customers.
I like to think of branding as the personality of your business. The same as when making a new friend, you want to have an understanding of who they are as a person, their morals, values, and trustworthiness. Your brand is going to encompass your company’s intent and values and let your customers know who you are on the inside. You use this to establish relationships with customers and sticking to your brand let’s them know that you are a trustworthy company that they can depend on. Sticking to your brand is important because it helps to develop familiarity and reliability that opens the doors to brand loyalty from customers.
What is the difference between branding and a logo?
If the branding is the personality of your company, then the logo is the face. Your logo is what customers will see first before getting to know you, which is your brand. On average, it takes 7 seconds to make an impression on a new person. 7 seconds is not a whole lot of time so we want to make sure your logo can make a good impression and draw people in to want to learn more. Your logo should be a simplification of your brand’s values and make it clear to newcomers what your intentions are. Your logo should also stand out and create recognition so that returning customers can trust they are in good hands with your company.
